A very odd one to fake this.
Carries the fake Crown Mark with the addition of LTD.
Similar colouring to the fake Guinness Toucans, but no sign of any Guinness logos on this one.

The only known pattern in the popular Floral Embossed wares to be faked that we know of is HYDRANGEA.
Again an original factory mould is being used so the shape is faithful. The decoration however is inferior and uses colours never employed by Carlton Ware.
They appear altogether somewhat garish and are typically unglazed, or partially unglazed on the back, something Carlton would never have done. For comparison the original item is shown on the left.

| Carlton Ware did produce some lady figures in bone chine, marked 'Carlton China' This figure is earthenware and poorly decorated.
