We have not seen many of these yet. Although they have been sold as Carlton Ware on eBay, we have not been able to ascertain how or if they are marked.

Usually, it is deceitfully backstamped Carlton Ware, Handpainted, Made in England Trade Mark. It has also been seen with the Crown Mark, Carlton Ware Ltd as shown here. Names seen so far are SS RNLI, SS or HMS Pacific and HMS Rosemary. The ship model, we're told is actually that of the QE2. Whatever it is, it never sailed from the Carlton Ware Factory.

Once again the Carlton Ware, Handpainted Script mark is falsely used.

In a similar vein to the cannon shown elsewhere in this database, this decorative model of a First World War tank also carries the early Crown mark which has been modified by the addition of Ltd. It has also been seen in a green matt glaze.

These items have started to appear for sale recently.
The shapes are not known to have ever been used by Carlton Ware and there appear to be a mixture of marks used throughout the pattern.
